LinkedIn Confidential — Pt. 4

The Hiring Team

The Opening

LinkedIn’s “Meet the Hiring Team” feature is designed to humanize the hiring process — to show job seekers the real people behind a role. In this case, every person shown is fabricated. Ten members. Zero real people. One real job posting, completely captured by a coordinated fake network.

Part 4 documents the full scope of how a single job listing can be surrounded, staffed, and controlled by threat actors — with the real job poster unaware that their listing has been compromised.

“Ten members. Zero real people.”

The Exhibits — 20 Documented Profiles & Patterns

Exhibit 1 Georgia Emmanuel — 1 Connection, 204 Jobs, Hannover Germany

“Georgia Emmanuel” presents as a recruiter based in Hannover, Germany, but is listed on 204 job postings at time of capture, with only 1 connection. A genuine recruiter with one connection is not placing candidates at scale across 204 roles. The volume-to-connection ratio is the tell.

Red Flags: Georgia Emmanuel

  • 1 connection, 204 active job listings at time of capture
  • Location: Hannover, Germany
  • Volume-to-connection ratio is not plausible for a real recruiter
Exhibit 2 “Meet the Hiring Team” — 10 Members, All Confidential, All Fake

A single job listing’s “Meet the Hiring Team” modal surfaces 10 members — all listing their employer as Confidential, all fabricated. The original job poster does not control who appears in this panel. Any LinkedIn account can attach itself to any listing. This panel exists solely to manufacture the appearance of a real, staffed hiring process.

Why This Matters

The 'Meet the Hiring Team' feature was built for transparency. It has been weaponized for opacity. When every person in the panel is fake, the feature is an attack surface.

Exhibit 3 Extended Roster — Georgia Elizabeth, Wesley Raupp, Victoria Anderson

Beyond the core 10-member panel, three additional profiles are documented: Georgia Elizabeth (a variant of the Georgia Emmanuel identity), Wesley Raupp, and Victoria Anderson. Each operates independently as an attack surface while appearing to be part of the same legitimate hiring operation.

Red Flags: Extended Roster

  • Georgia Elizabeth — variant identity alongside Georgia Emmanuel
  • Wesley Raupp and Victoria Anderson documented separately below
  • Multiple overlapping fake profiles on same or related listings
Exhibit 4 Darcy Ryan — Los Angeles, CIPM Affiliation, 18-Hour-Old Listing

“Darcy Ryan” is listed as Director of Operations in Los Angeles with a CIPM (Certified International Project Manager) affiliation — a credential that sounds substantial but is attached to an account with no verifiable history. The listing was 18 hours old at time of capture.

Red Flags: Darcy Ryan

  • CIPM affiliation — unverifiable
  • Director of Operations listing was 18 hours old at time of capture
  • No verifiable professional history despite senior title
Exhibits 5–7 Gray Beebah — 15 Connections, 10 Jobs, Photo Traced to Côte d’Ivoire

“Gray Beebah” presents as a recruiter in Indianapolis with 15 connections and 10 active job listings placing candidates in Mexico. The profile photo was traced to a Facebook post from SALON CHIC in Côte d’Ivoire, dated November 17, 2022, with a WhatsApp contact number: +225 07 888 222 23. The origin of the photo is West Africa. The listed location is Indiana. The jobs are in Mexico.

Red Flags: Gray Beebah

  • 15 connections, 10 jobs placing in Mexico, location listed as Indianapolis
  • Profile photo traced to Salon Chic Facebook page, Côte d'Ivoire, November 2022
  • WhatsApp contact associated with photo source: +225 07 888 222 23
  • Three-country geographic disconnect across one profile
Exhibit 8 Ruth Faasema Ph.D — 500+ Connections, 100 Jobs, Nigeria Contact

“Ruth Faasema Ph.D” has over 500 connections, 100 active job listings at time of capture, and locations listed as both Naperville, IL and Abuja, Nigeria. The profile includes a phone number (+234 703 052 5895, a Nigerian number) and an email (rfaasema@gmail.com). The volume of connections and jobs gives the profile a veneer of legitimacy that makes it one of the most dangerous in this network.

Red Flags: Ruth Faasema Ph.D

  • 500+ connections, 100 active job listings
  • Locations: Naperville IL and Abuja Nigeria
  • Phone: +234 703 052 5895 (Nigerian number)
  • Email: rfaasema@gmail.com
  • High connection count creates false legitimacy signal
Exhibit 9 Ruth Faasema’s Script — Sent to Real Job Seekers

Ruth Faasema’s scripted comment — “Kindly send me a connection request to discuss further about your job search” — was documented being sent to real job seekers including Andrea M. Lara Noble and Amy K D’Amico. The script is designed to move the target off LinkedIn and into a direct communication channel controlled by the threat actor.

Why This Matters

The scripted comment is the operational tell. Real recruiters do not use identical scripts across multiple unconnected job seekers. The move-off-platform request is a standard social engineering precursor to credential harvesting, fee fraud, or data theft.

Exhibits 10–12 Wesley Raupp — 2 Followers, 29 Jobs, Same Face on Fiverr

“Wesley Raupp” is listed in Surrey, BC with 2 followers and 29 active job listings. The account joined LinkedIn in January 2026, with the profile photo updated less than one week before capture. No verifications. No endorsements.

The same face appearing as “Wesley Raupp” on LinkedIn was found on Fiverr as “Gregory” (fiverr.com/gregory_hopkins), selling resume writing services. One face. Two platforms. Two separate fraud vectors.

Red Flags: Wesley Raupp

  • 2 followers, 29 active job listings
  • Account joined January 2026; photo updated < 1 week before capture
  • Same face found on Fiverr as 'Gregory' selling resume services
  • No verifications or endorsements
  • Cross-platform identity fraud
Exhibits 13–16 Victoria Anderson — 19 Connections, Pexels Stock Photo

“Victoria Anderson” presents as a recruiter in Sevierville, TN, with affiliations to Kelly Services and Florida State University, and 19 connections. Her New Year 2026 post specifically targeted active job seekers.

The profile photo was traced to a Pexels stock image by photographer Polina Zimmerman (pexels.com/photo/3747457) — a photo that has received 324 likes on the platform and is freely available to anyone.

Red Flags: Victoria Anderson

  • 19 connections, listing jobs in New York from Sevierville TN
  • Profile photo is a Pexels stock image by Polina Zimmerman
  • Photo has 324 likes on Pexels — widely accessible
  • Kelly Services and FSU affiliations added for credibility
  • New Year 2026 post specifically targeting active job seekers
Exhibits 17–18 Maggie Murdock — Sleeper Account, 471 Connections, Never Posted

“Maggie Murdock” joined LinkedIn in October 2021, has 471 connections, is listed in Burlingame, CA — and has never posted. A profile with nearly 500 connections and zero posts over multiple years is a dormant asset: built, aged, and held in reserve until it is needed. 471 connections that cannot be traced to any activity is a deliberate construction, not a passive one.

“471 connections. Zero posts. October 2021. This is not neglect — it is infrastructure.”

Red Flags: Maggie Murdock

  • 471 connections, joined October 2021, zero posts
  • Dormant/sleeper account aged for credibility
  • Location: Burlingame CA
  • High connection count with no visible activity is a red flag, not a green light
Exhibits 19–20 Tony Russell & Thomas Partey — Borrowed Names, 54 & 5 Connections

“Tony Russell” presents as a Strategy Director based in Singapore with 17 connections and 54 active job listings.

“Thomas Partey” shares a name with Arsenal F.C. midfielder Thomas Partey — 5 connections, Chicago-based, with the listing captured 7 hours after posting. The name is borrowed from a public figure for recognition.

Red Flags: Tony Russell

  • 17 connections, 54 active jobs, Strategy Director title
  • Location: Singapore, despite no Singapore-specific credentials

Red Flags: Thomas Partey

  • Shares name with Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey
  • 5 connections, listing captured 7 hours after posting
  • Borrowed celebrity name for recognition and false credibility

Evidence Summary

The 20 exhibits documented in Part 4 span profiles with connections ranging from 1 to 500+, job listings from 5 to 204, and geographic identities spread across the United States, Canada, Germany, Nigeria, and West Africa — all operating under a single banner: Confidential.

Why This Matters

Part 4 is the most operationally detailed case file in this series. It documents not just that fake profiles exist, but how they are networked, how they communicate with targets, how they age accounts for credibility, and how they operate simultaneously across multiple platforms.
